Candida

CANDIDA
by George Bernard Shaw

A love triangle -- and a woman's choice between two men who love her.

Candida is the delightful, light-hearted classic from George Bernard Shaw, writer of Major Barbara and Arms and the Man, winner of the Academy Award for writing Pygmalion, and recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Reverend Morell thinks he and his wife, Candida, have the perfect marriage, but when a talented, young poet also declares his love for her, Morell begins to doubt whether his wife loves him after all. Written over 100 years ago, George Bernard Shaw shows that marriage hasn't changed all that much.

Directed by Kathleen F. Conlin from her acclaimed production at the Utah Shakespearean Festival.

"Shaw's wit and originality zero in on the human condition to the continued delight of playgoers everywhere."

-- NY Times

Candida runs from February 4 to March 8, 2009

No Way To Treat a Lady

NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY
by Douglas J. Cohen

A musical thriller

LOS ANGELES PREMIERE! Based on the William Goldman novel and movie of the same name, this hilarious, sexy musical gives new meaning to "knock 'em dead.? A serial killer is on the loose, and Detective Morris Brummell is on the case. Can he find the killer, get the girl, and appease his disappointed mother -- all before the next chorus?  It's a game of cat and mouse -- a tour de force with 4 actors playing 17 roles -- and a murderously fun time!

"An old-fashioned, new-fangled thoroughly beguiling musical." -- Rolling Stone

No Way To Treat a Lady runs from April 15 to May 17, 2009
